Sky Safari Drones provided excellent introductory training. Going through controller and drone settings made me so much more confident. Flying practice patterns improved my stick and rudder skills. Initially, I wasn't sure I'd get a lot out of this training. But a brief introduction to flight drills prepped me for more advanced flight dynamics: Waypoints; Follow-me; 1, 2, 3, & 4-axis flight; and true cinematorgaphy. I now know I can put my drone exactly where I want it in the sky, and precisely film the subjects I'm interested in. This was just great!

My wife and I have had some drone flying experience but as photographers we wanted to up our game with a camera that flies. The real world day trip we took to Satsop really elevated our skills. Flying in the wild taught us so much practical stuff and really built our confidence. They also helped us "get legal" which is a great load off my mind. We ended up filling a camera card with tons of material for a great demo reel. Big fun! Couldn't have been better!

Chuck and Mark were amazing tour guides! They were super knowledgeable about the areas where we were flying, had an answer for every technical question we asked, and did an amazing job keeping it fun and light-hearted. While I initially dreaded the 4:00 A.M. wake-up call, it was gorgeous! The sunrise was spectacular and the locations were perfect for all our lighting scenarios. Before we flew, Chuck showed me around my drone and we did a few warm-ups and drills because I hadn’t flown in a while. They would watch over our shoulders, ensuring we were flying safely, and getting beautiful shots. They were dedicated to following the rules and keeping us and others around us safe. From crop dusters 100 feet overhead to picturesque sunset views in a field of wind turbines, we saw all of Palouse. I would recommend this tour any day to anyone, at any drone pilot skill level, from beginner to professional! It was truly an amazing time!

Chuck and Mark at Sky Safari Drones are incredibly knowledgeable drone pilots and genuinely passionate about the art of drone flying. I was very nervous to fly at first, but they were kind enough to take me under their propellers and teach me the essentials to building a strong foundation in flying techniques and drone filming. They took us to many beautiful locations and I feel a thousand times more confident in my flying abilities.
